We have tried to answer some common questions about our dive training.
Advanced Diving Advanced diving is any type of diving that requires specialized skills and training. What type of training, course or certification do I need? This question requires significant introspection and is very individual. Are you restricted in your dive activities due to your current location or training? If so, this is probably the focus needed. Perhaps, you have a desire to explore new geographic and technical areas of diving. Such a goal is the mark of a seasoned diver, and highly respected by Advanced Diving International. Perform a self-assessment, then please speak with one of our technical associates for a more individualized training plan. Self-Assessment Start by performing a self- inventory of your dive skills: (Write this information down for your own reference and review it periodically.) - What is my current certification level?
- How many years have I been diving?
- How many dives do I have?
- How often do I dive?
- When was my last dive?
- Where was my last dive?
- What was my comfort level on my last dive?
- Where has the majority of my diving been performed?
- What were the conditions at these dive locations?
- Was I limited by anything on those dives?
- What areas of my performance could I improve on?
- What areas of diving interest me?
Now you have a starting point for your dive training. Review this list and create some personal goals for yourself. Do not place time limits on these goals. Simply think about what you would like to pursue.
